tablet report on the ipad

I'm going to write a report on the ipad. The Ipad came out on April 3rd 2010. the most recent ipads came out in october. ipads are a type of ipad which allows you to go on the internet , take pictures, download apps and listen to music. the ipads are produced by the company apple which also produce all the iphones and ipods. The different colours of the ipad are black and white. Apple are not  the only company that have made tablets other companies like samsung,blackberry have also produced tablets quite similar to the ipad. 

The ipad mini 3 which is shown in the image above costs from about £319 and is a 7.9 inch thats is made out of glass and only weighs 0.68 pounds.

The advantages of the ipad is that its not heavy so easy to carry around and also thin which is good incase you need to take it somewhere. Another advantage is that you can all different types of apps for free and can download music off of itunes. Also you can facetime your friends and family.

The disadvantages of having an ipad is that they are very easly breakable and smashable and is not waterproof which can cause all diffrerent sorts of problems and also a disadvantage is that the ipad is very expensive which means not many people can get it because its costs so much. 

however i think this tablet is a very good and worth the money because it will last a long time.

1) An operating system (OS) is software that manages computer hardware and software resources and provides common services for computer programs. The operating system is an essential component of the system  software in a computer system. Application programs usually require an operating system to function.

2)fire walls are a system that is designed to prevent unauthorized access to or from a private network. firewalls can be used in software and hardware.

3) Anti virus is designed to detect and destroy computer viruses.
4) A malware protector is a software which is specifically designed to disrupt or damage a computer system.
5 Applications software (also called end-userprograms) include such things as databaseprograms, word processors, Web browsers and spreadsheets. Figuratively speaking, applications software sits on top of systems software because it is unable to run without the operating system and system utilities

peer assesment : WWW: you have used a good vector image and good colours and good text.
EBI: if you added a slogan to make the logo more interesting also to make the background stand out to make the main character stand out more to make the writing stand out so people read it.

self evaluation: I think my work is quite good because the image is very clear and the text is very big and bold.
To make this better i could add a slogan and made the background more interesting although the colours are good and bold. I could also add shapes inside to make it more interesting and to grab peoples attention.
to make this a level 6 i could make the font of the writing

hardware/software/vector/output/input

hardware:
 this is something the components of a computer. A hardware is also the objects and wires inside  the moniter or the printer to make it work.

software: 
this is were something is microsoft which programmes the computer. its also other computer programmes like music email settings and wifi and camera. 

vector:vector is a type of graphic where the image is better quality so that when you zoom 


input:
An input is something that you add to to the computer, a example of  this is keyboard or a mouse for the computer because because you put it in to your computer. An example of a input   is a scanner or a webcam

output:
the output is something that comes from the computer such as something you print off becasue the document. more examples of an output is speakers and a moniter.

explain how vector images are contructed: 
 vector images are made up of many individual calable objects. these objects are defined by mathmatical equations rather than pixels so they always render at the highest quaility. objects may consist of lines curves and shapes that are editable attributes such as color fill and outline. 
vector and bitmap graphics are different because vector images are good quality so when you zoom in the image dont have pixels on but on a bitmap image the image is more pixelated and bead quility when you zoom in.

blogger:A blog is a website its has ongoing information . A blog includes a diary like posts and links to relavant websites. A blog                                                can be written however often you want because a blog is usually quite long.
                                                 

microblog:
A micro blog is a social media site which users of the site can upload short and frequent posts to tell viewers of the site what they are doing and where they are. Twitter is a good example of this.

Chat Room
A chat room is a place on the internet that users from all around the world can speak and communicate with each other. This can be general chatting or discussing a particular subject.

V.O.I.P
This is an acronym for a voice over internet protocol or also know as a phone service over the internet. If you have a strong internet connection than you may be able to get phone service over your internet connection instead of from your local phone company.
